Sisak-Moslavina County hosted on May 31st, June 3rd and June 6th debates of the "EU minds" project in Glina Grammar School, Technical School Sisak and Grammar School Tin Ujevic in Kutina organized by PRONI Center for Social Education and Sisak-Moslavina County as project partner.

   

Two new specialised services are now accesible to Vukovar area inhabitants. These services – cleaning service  „Tip-top“ and children's birthday animation service „Magical wagon“ - are the activities of  "Step by step to the labour market“ project, implemented by PRONI Centre for Social Education and Croatian Employment Serivce, Regional office Vukovar.
"Tip - top" scleaning service offers cleaning of the premises after construction works, cleaning and manitenance of business offices and homes, a s well as drycleaning of  vehicle interiors.

PRONI training centre in Pirovac once again gathered the youth in order to get to know each other, exchange experiences in community development and voluntarism, and to plan future joint programmes and actions.

This time they gathered within the project whose purpose is to empower youth and improve their knowledge and skills in the field of youth and community work.
The youth from Moldova, The Netherlands, Slovenia, Serbia and Croatia who participate in a 9-day programme from 10th till 19th of June, will also have the opportunity to get to know each other through intercultural evenings and a voluntary action in cooperation with the Municipality of Pirovac.
These activities are part of the project “My place, my face” that is financed through the European commission – programme Youth in Action, and is implemented by PRONI Centre and its’ partners from the abovementioned countries.

Within the project "EU minds", financed by IPA INFO 2009, on 25th and 27th May Petrinja and Novska debates were held with final classes from Petrinja secondary school and Novska secondary school.

 

Please download here the presentations on critical thinking, social skills, employment and voluntary engagement in the communities. The presentations were held during the visit of faculty and students of Indiana university’s School of social work on May 17th and 18th.

Representatives of Croatian Employment Service, Regional offices Osijek, Vukovar and Sisak, Volunteer Centre Osijek and PRONI Centre, gathered on the first meeting organized within the project ''Youth Employment Task-Force''. The meeting was organized on 24th of May in the premises of Regional Info Centre for Youth Osijek, where during the following year, beside Vukovar and Sisak Info Centre for Youth, a plenty of activities will be implemented. The main themes of this meeting were mutual introducing, as well as introducing with the project in general and planning of coming activities that will be directed to youth and their easier entry to the labour market.

On 18th of May, more than thirty pupils of third and fourth grade at the First Secondary School in Beli Manastir attended debate organized within the project "EU minds". Although, same day was held farewell to graduates and some final examinations, the pupils invested two hours of their time to participate in the debate, which this time was a bit less argumented, but a bit more humoristic.

Within the project "Step by step to the labour market" a Service for animation children's birthday "Carobni vagon" has open. At the opening of Service that took place on the Family day, 18 women that passed education for animation of children promoted the Service.

On Friday 13th of  May, a Second gymnasium in Osijek hosted the second debate in the Osijek-Baranja County. The debate was implemented within the project "EU minds", which is implemented by PRONI Center for social education, in the partnership with  Osijek-Baranja, Vukovar-Srijem and Sisak-Moslavina Counties.

The continuation of project ''Restart'' brought up new educational programs. Thus, from 10th of May in the school of foreign language TROHA in Vukovar, 30 project beneficiaries started with English and German language classes, in order to gain additional qualifications necessary for easier labour market entry.
