Within the project ''Step by step to the Labour Market“, the education for children birthdays animators has started. The education scheduled for 2 weeks (from 3rd till 12th of May) in the premises of PRONI Centre Vukovar, attend 20 long-term unemployed women and single parents unemployed for more than 6 months. First week participants will pass through theoretical part, while second week will be dedicated to the practice.

In Vukovar primary schools Dragutina Tadijanovica and Nikole Andrica the project "Euro-znalci" is in implementation phase in which pupils from 5th grade, by participating in interactive workshops, are introduced with EU. Participants will also have opportunity to take participation in the celebration of Europe Day, by participating in quiz between the schools that will be organized in the City Hall on 7th of May at 11.00 am. Beside pupils, teachers and other school staff showed the interest for participation in this project, which is fully financed by Vukovar-srijem County department for European integrations.

The Head of the EU Delegation, Ambassador Paul Vandoren and State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Andrej Plenkovic will officially open the Europe Week at Zagreb’s Flower Square on Monday, 2 May at 9.30 hrs.

The celebrations of Europe Week will continue in Osijek on Friday, 6 May at 10:00hrs at Ante Starcevic Square. The President of the Republic of Croatia Ivo Josipovic, the Head of EU Delegation, Ambassador Paul Vandoren, Osijek-Baranja County Prefect and Osijek Mayor, Vladimir Sisljagic and Kresimir Bubalo respectively, will attend the celebration. Osijek citizens will be able to find out more about the EU issues at the information stands which will be displayed by the EU Delegation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, the Croatian Chamber of Commerce and PRONI NGO.

In the premises of ​​Sisak-Moslavina County, on April 5th 2011., the second meeting of partners in the project EU minds was held. In pleasant and relaxed atmosphere representatives of Sisak-Moslavina, Vukovar-Srijem and Osijek-Baranja County, PRONI Centre and Info centers for youth Sisak, Osijek and Vukovar, have made a review of the activities in the first quarter, with particular emphasis on the survey of youth opinions in 17 schools from three mentioned counties. Also, partners have made a plan of action for the second quarter, which relates to the preparation and implementation of public debates with young people.

Additional empowering of social-marginalized group for the labour market started with the implementation of ECDL course, which within the project Restart will attend 45 beneficiaries during following three months. These days in the premises of FINA in Vukovar, where the implementation of the course is taking place, two groups of beneficiaries are attending lectures and preparing for the exams that will be organized during April.

Project „Youth in the center!“ oficially finished on March 31st. Its' ending was celebrated on the conference „Youth – (r)evolution of the society“ organised in Chisinau by Moldovan organisation Pro Comunitate. As one of the partners in  the project, PRONI Centre gave its' contribution through leading workshops. The conference gathered 90 participants, including the youth from four rural areas where youth clubs were established and activists were educated as a part of the project.

In the premises of PRONI Centre in Vukovar, the second partner meeting within the project "Restart" took place. On the meeting, organized on 14th of March, project team evaluated implemented activities during past quarter, as well as made a plan of activities for the following months. Beside regular partner representatives, on this meeting a representative from associate institution - Croatian employment service, regional office Vukovar, was present too, since the project target group is also a beneficiary of CES.

In the premises of partner organization VIMIO, the education with the beneficiaries of project "Restart" has started on 14th of February.  Within the educational program, entitled „Presentation skills“ which will be implemented in a form of 3-day cycle workshop, the beneficiaries will be introduced with the methods of writing curriculum vitae and job applications, will work on self-assessment and self-evaluation, as well as through the theoretical and practical part prepare them selves for interview with prospective employer. Otherwise, this education will attend 60 beneficiaries during 6 cycles within the following two months.
