From 8th to 10th of May, four youngsters from cross-border neighboring municipality Bac, are participating in the study visit to the Youth Clubs in Vukovar-srijem County.

After one and half month of preparatory lectures in partner educational institution – Technical College Vinkovci, 14 project beneficiaries, from today (5.5.2008.) started with artisans’ exams for tailors and hairdressers. Artisans’ exam was organized by and it is implemented in partnership with Chamber of Trades and Crafts of Vukovar-srijem County.

In cooperation with SOS-community for youth, Osijek, on Saturday 26th of April, in the premises of Regional Info-Centre for Youth, training “Prevention of smoking” was organized. Training, designed to the beneficiaries of mentioned association, aimed at raising awareness related to adversity and consequences caused by smoking, as well as on preventive work, good health and freedom of choice. Training, implemented by the trainers of PRONI Centre for Social Education, Osijek, attended 11 participants.

Within the cross-border project „Youth Link“, on Saturday, 19th of April, 2008, youth from Bac, Srbija, visited three Youth Clubs in Vukovar-Srijem County, as well as Regional Youth Info-Centre in Osijek.
As good hosts, representatives of Youth Club Borovo, Brsadin and Negoslavci, presented their work, by informing guests about how they started, what they are doing today and what are their future plans.
The aim of the study visit was to transfer the gain knowledge in the field of Youth work in Croatia, and support young people in order to develop Youth Club in the Municipality of  Bac.
The funding for the study visit is provided by The Balkan Trust for Democracy, a project of the German Marshall Fund of the United States.

On Thursday, April the 10th, 2008. Major of Sisak, Mr. Dinko Pintaric and his deputy Mr. Mario Marot with associates, were hosts to the representatives of PRONI Centre for Social Education and members of Coordination of youth NGOs Sisak (KUMS).
