Beli Manastir hosted a "EU minds" debate |

 On 18th of May, more than thirty pupils of third and fourth grade at the First Secondary School in Beli Manastir attended debate organized within the project "EU minds". Although, same day was held farewell to graduates and some final examinations, the pupils invested two hours of their time to participate in the debate, which this time was a bit less argumented, but a bit more humoristic.
Summarized comments of treated areas were that Croatia should join the EU because education would be better and studying would be easier, farmers should get higher subsidies in order to improve the agriculture, nothing would be better in the field of employment, since the salaries will remain the same.
Although pupils that particpated in such form of debate for the first time showed positive attitude, a ''sweet'' gift packages shared at the end of the debate, additionally had impact on pupils to have "EU minds" project in lasting memory. |
