In cooperation with University of Zagreb, Department of Social Work and University of Indiana School of Social Work, PRONI Centre implements research related to parental involvement in the work of primary schools in the City of Vukovar and Municipality of Tompojevci.

The aim of research is to take a closer look at the role of parental involvement in the reconstructing process of the communities affected by the war. Special emphasis will be given to the relationships between parental involvement with the work in primary schools and the level of relationships between the parents and with the other members of their respected community.
So far, research has been implemented in several primary schools: Berak, Boksic, Tompojevci, Miklusevci and Cakovci from Tompojevci Municipality, as well as one class in Nikola Andric Primary school in Vukovar.
The research will be continued throughout the Vukovar's Primary schools.
